Say hello to El Fuego – a Mexican food truck run by life-long friends, Hugh & Fionn.
Sick of seeing "Mexican food" being slung out of petrol stations around Ireland, we planned a trip to learn how to cook (and eat) real Mexican food.
We stuffed ourselves with tacos and beer, all for the people of Ireland ☘️
On our travels we hiked up a volcano in Guatemala, to watch Volcán de Fuego erupting. At the summit, the name of our truck was no longer in doubt.
Once we got back on home turf, we had our talented friend give the truck a paint-job worthy of the name 🔥
Our vision for the truck was to combine authentic Mexican recipes with world-class Irish produce – all served with the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of both Irish and Mexican cultures.
...and not only that, but to be sustainable, sensible, and have a great laugh doing it.
This venture been a pipe dream for us for years – mostly discussed in the wee hours of the morning.
We couldn't be happier after seeing it burst to life over the past few months, and seeing you all enjoy it!
